Where does food come from?

This week, Herons have been learning about where our food comes from. We discovered that some foods come from plants, some come from animals, and some foods come from both plants and animals.

The children worked in pairs to sort different foods into the correct columns, discussing their ideas and thinking carefully about where each food originated. They showed excellent teamwork, listening to one another, sharing their thoughts, and explaining their reasoning. It was wonderful to see the children working collaboratively and building their understanding of the food we eat every day. Well done, Herons! 🌟
