Skylarks - Continents and Oceans of the World

Today, the children have been exploring world maps. They used atlases to identify the location and shape of the continents and then used this knowledge to help them locate the 5 oceans. They have learnt that Asia is the largest continent, the Indian Ocean is the warmest ocean and the Arctic Ocean is the shallowest. The children then made their own world map games to help them practise locating the oceans and continents. We will play these each week to help us remember them all!
