Oracy in DT

This half term, our topic is 'Structures.' As our entry point, the children worked in teams to create their own towers using paper and masking tape. Following our talk rules, the children had to come to an agreement on the tower that they were going to make, take-turns, challenge respectfully and bring others into the discussion. The children utilised these skills well and created some very creative towers. Some were unstable and fell over easily. We will be working on strenghtening techniques over the coming weeks and will utilise these in our final build at the end of the topic. Great team work Eagles!
