Maths Practical - Adding, Subtracting and Giving Change

Today the children took part in a fun “shop” activity to help them practise their money skills in a real-life context. They enjoyed buying and selling items, adding totals, subtracting amounts, and working out the correct change.

This hands-on experience helped them build confidence in solving problems and applying their learning in a practical way. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and teamwork as they explored maths through play!
