Exploring Recipes and Instructions in Herons

For our new English unit we are looking at instructions. We explored a variety of recipes to see what they all had in common. We answered some key questions in partners and then discussed our answers as a whole class. We paid close attention to the features that made an instructional text effective and discussed which features did not work well.
