English - Moon: Night-Time Around the World

In our new English unit, we are exploring poetry through the book Moon: Nighttime Around the World. We loved reading the story and identifying the rhyming couplets within the poem.

Afterwards, we completed a sorting activity where we grouped the animals from the poem based on when they are awake: during the day, at night, at dusk, or at dawn. The children enjoyed discussing their ideas and using clues from the text to help them decide where each animal belonged. Well done, Herons!
