DT - Testing our designs

Fragile structures Herons

Today, the children made and tested their designs, using spaghetti and playdough.

Following this the children will review their initial design based on their findings, before making it out of paper and masking tape. 

The children really impressed us, not just with their knowledge of strengthening techniques and the vocabulary they were using, but also for their fantastic team work skills. The children worked hard to follow our 'Tranmere Talk Rules' and encouraged others to participate fully in their group.
