Computing in Eagles Class

In Eagles class, the children have been learning all about a computer keyboard. We have been teaching the children the basic skills of touch typing - placing their index fingers on F and J , and then placing their remaining fingers alongside these on the 'home row'. With practice, the children are steadily becoming more confident with this. The children have been practising their typing skills by typing out words, sentences and paragraphs. They have also learnt how to delete, use the space bar, how to capitalise letters (using the shift key) and how to delete using 'back space.'

The children have really been enjoying this unit of work. Well done Eagles!
