France 2026 - Day Four!

Thursday meant it was time for Le Touquet. We headed off to the market and it was clear from the start that the children had their ‘serious spender’ heads on. Lots of gifts were purchased that are now heading your way (you’re welcome!). It was great to see the children using their French language skills and trying to barter with the sellers. Once all the money had disappeared, we headed towards the beach however the weather finally caught up with us and rain stopped play. Instead, we returned to the Chateau and the children enjoyed a range of activities including quizzes, bingo and treasure hunts. For tea, snails and frogs legs were tried and we were so impressed with how adventurous they were - you can see their reactions on the pictures, some enjoyed them more than others! We’re now all packed up, ready for an early start for our journey back home. We will keep you updated throughout the day with our ETA but we are hoping it will be around 8pm at Magnet car park.
