Colour Mixing in Skylarks

In Art this half term, the children are learning to recognise the primary colours and use these to make the secondary colours - orange, purple and green. 

In today's Art lesson, we enjoyed reading the fantastic book by Arree Chung called 'Mixed'. Using what we had learnt about primary colours, the children then used paint to create their own 'colour wheel.' We will be using this knowledge in our upcoming lessons to paint a clay pot.
