Scrambled Sentences in Herons

In writing, our lessons are focused around the story of Billy’s Bucket. Today, we revisited capital letters and full stops and focused on ensuring that a sentence makes sense. We fixed some examples of muddled sentences altogether before the children had a go in small groups. By the end of the lesson, we all understood that a sentence needs a capital letter, full stop and HAS to make sense! Skylarks have now promised that they will not forget capital letters and full stops in their writing.
