Pancake Day EYFS
We celebrated pancake day in style. We talked about how during Lent, Christians would give up rich, tasty foods such as butter, eggs, sugar and Shrove Tuesday was the last chance to eat them – and what better way to do so than with a delicious pancake!
We have created our own pancakes in provision using fruits and of course outside we used our mud kitchen. We had pancake races, where the children couldn’t stop laughing as Mrs Papworth, Mrs Marriott and Miss Allison battled it out to be the winner. All the children loved sampling the pancakes and gave them a big thumbs up.
