Muddy Mondays in EYFS!

This week, we started our pond/nature area sessions. These will run on a two-week rolling programme every Monday. Please make sure your child has a pair of wellies and full change of clothes at school, in case they are needed for this session. 

For our first session today, we read the story ‘The Leaf Thief’, then turned into some VERY sneaky children and ‘stole’ the leaves from poor squirrel! Once in the clear from squirrel suspecting us, we used the leaves to thread some leaf bracelets and crowns. And some of us even turned them into other items, such as fish and hedgehogs! We finished off our session by making some fish and chips in the mud kitchen.
