Entry Point KS1 - All Dressed Up

This week saw the start of our new topic 'All Dressed Up.' As our entry point, our Year 2 children visited Bradford Industrial Museum to see how cloth is made. They completed a weaving workshop where they learnt the process of making wool; from sheep shearing to carding, combing, spinning and finally weaving. We even saw a range of clothes from the past and were able to discuss how they are different from the clothes we wear today. What a great and interesting way to start our new topic!
