EYFS: British Science Week
As part of British Science Week, Robins and Bluebirds have taken part in the Curly Wurly challenge.
For this challenge, they had to work together in teams to stretch their bars, to try and make them longer.
We were super impressed with the teamwork and resilience they showed throughout this challenge and were amazed at the length some of their bars ended up!
Throughout the task, they discovered that the more they held, and squished the bars, the more they became like Playdough, making them easy to roll into long sausages. They also discovered that the caramel in the middle acted as the perfect glue material to stick their bar back together after it had gotten separated into small pieces.
I think they’ll all agree that the hardest part of this challenge was trying not to eat the chocolate!
