Today, Skylarks practised writing, representing, comparing and ordering numbers to 20. We completed the lesson by recapping our number bonds to 10 and 20. Here we are enjoying our practical maths session!

To introduce our new topic, ‘Toys’, KS1 received a letter from The Magic Toymaker! We were asked to build and test out toys in the Toymaker’s workshop. Wow! What a fantastic workshop we have had. AnimalsUK visited KS1 and we got to learn about lots of different animals. The children had the opportunity to hold and feel a tortoise, snake, skunk, tarantula and a meerkat. The children had so many excellent questions for Laura too. What an exciting opportunity!
