Skylarks Exit Point-Kirkstall Abbey House | 24 Oct 2019

To conclude our topic ‘Hooray let’s go on Holiday’, we visited Kirkstall Abbey House Museum to learn more about seaside holidays. We had the opportunity to explore the museum, created a seaside donkey mask and took part in a workshop learning about seaside holidays in the past. We really enjoyed our trip.

As part of our topic ‘Hooray! Let’s Go On Holiday’, we have opened up our own Tranmere Travel Agents. The children have been able to go in and search through brochures to choose a perfect holiday destination. They have been taking on roles as the customer and the travel agent.

This week Eagles have been learning more about the impact of deforestation and the harm it is doing to our planet. We have been having a clear out and found lots of exercise books that we no longer use. The surplus exercise books are outside Woodpeckers class. We are asking for donations of 20p per book. Please take as many as you would like.
