National Leader of Education
Our Head Teacher Mrs Finley’s NLE accreditation came as a result of Tranmere Park Primary School being assessed against rigorous standards; having standards well above national standards in all areas and Mrs Finley having successfully worked to support a number of other primary schools. She was a Local Leader in Education in Leeds for seven years before becoming a National Leader in Education (NLE) in March 2016.
National Leaders of Education (NLEs)
NLEs are headteachers who work with schools in challenging circumstances to support school improvement.
Because their support role will often include members of their own staff, the school of a national leader of education is called a national support school.
