As part on our work on materials, we carried out an investigation to see what would be the best material for a teddy’s umbrellas. We discussed how we could make the investigation fair and decided that we would keep the jar the same size, the teddy the same size, the materials the same size and drop the same amount of water on the materials.
We decided that paper would not be a good material for teddy’s umbrella as it absorbs water and rips easily. We found that plastic would be the best.
