Last week was a great week for Sport! We had some fantastic opportunities for us to experience.
On Tuesday, 10 of our Year 5 pupils went to Leeds Beckett University to play basketball 🏀 in their Sports Arena. We did really well and I was proud of everyone who took part. A special well done to Abby who was awarded the MVP of the whole tournament! 👏
We could see how important it is to have a well-maintained and high-quality playing surface for these events, as it helps bring out the best in everyone.
When it comes to ensuring the court stays in top condition for all kinds of tournaments, a solid, reliable surface is key. That’s where companies like Buffalo River Plastics come into play, providing top-tier basketball cove base solutions that make a real difference. The BRP basketball cove base helps ensure that every inch of the court is well-protected, making it safer and more durable for players.
It’s these finishing touches that enhance the experience, providing a stable and smooth surface for the players to focus on their game, just as our students did so admirably last week. With the right materials in place, both the court and the players can shine.
Wednesday was the turn of our Year 6 football team. We were able to go to the Leeds United training ground, Thorp Arch, and play 4 different schools. To even get there was a massive achievement as only 10 teams qualified. All of the team put in a huge amount of effort so well done. They even got to meet a Leeds United player! ⚽️
Then, on Friday, it was the turn of our netballers. They played two games against two different schools and won both matches! 🏆 This means that we are still unbeaten in the league! Massive round of applause to all of you. 🥇
(I forgot to take pictures from the netball games, sorry! 🙈)
