A day at Le Touquet. Market in the morning, beach all afternoon. Frogs legs and snails for tea – it’s been a good day. Evening activity – a campfire.

Today was a day remembering.

Day 2 Guided walking tour around our local town Rue learning all about the local history. We heard lots of amazing stories from WW1 & WW2 and the role the town played. Walk finished with a visit to the local supermarket to buy some authentic French products ( sweets). Lunch at the chateau followed by …

Morning. All slept well. Just had breakfast and about to begin our village tour.

After long delays at the port, thank you Brexit, we have arrived. All eaten, tour of the chateau running off steam. Hopefully a good nights sleep.
