Cross Country – Hawksworth | 19 Oct 2017

It was a windy Tuesday afternoon as 32 Tranmere pupils trekked up to the fields near Hawksworth School to attend a cross country event. The course was ‘proper’ cross country terrain with rabbit holes and cow pat standing in the way. At one point, we even had sheep join us! It was a tricky course …

Netball Friendly – St Peter and Pauls | 18 Oct 2017

The first Netball friendly of the year is done! The team played amazingly well together and the match ended in a 10-0 victory! Well done to the all the Netball team and I’m already looking forward to the next one.

Cross Country – Wharfe Meadows | 18 Oct 2017

The first cross country race of the year got off to a cracking start! All the children had a really good afternoon and ran their socks off. It was a great start to the cross country season and we’re looking forward to the other races throughout the year. Well done to all involved.

Mrs Thompson’s visit Today, Mrs Thompson, Lizzie’s mum in Wrens, came in to talk about crocheting and the different fabrics that she has seen on her travels. We found it very interesting and loved using our senses to explore the different fabrics that she brought in. Take a look!
