We have received the below from the head of a local school.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDING ALERT

We have been made aware of a person using Instagram to target young boys to send nude photos of themselves to him using various coercions, threats and menaces. The person seems most interested in primary school aged boys. If your child has an Instagram account, I would advice that you check their account. The accounts causing concerned are   _ally_law__123   or   _ally_law__.  The person claims to be a prolific Youtuber who does various risky pranks such as walking on the glass roofs of large shopping centres in broad daylight. The account may be somebody not connected in any way to this Youtuber.

If your child is following the account and there have been no concerning approaches, I would advise you to block the person’s account. If there has been concerning or suspicious activity, please contact the police by ringing 101. It may be advisable to take screenshots before blocking the account so you have examples of any concerning messages.
