To celebrate British Science Week, Red Kites read a book called ‘The Most Important Animal of All’. We learnt about lots of different animals and why they could be classed as the most important species on Earth. We then chose our favourite animal and created a factfile about it – we learnt lots of interesting facts!
We then learnt about the different types of camouflage and some animals that use it in different ways. We imagined that a Tiger might have to camouflage itself on our school playground and we thought about what colourings it might need.
We then tested them out on the playground and we think we did a great job. One tiger even flew off and found an even better place to hide – see if you can spot it!
Have a look for yourself.
