On Tuesday the children braved the cold and took part in a muddy puddle day. We did so many exciting activities, and the had the opportunity to use our new outdoor classroom. Firstly the children created festive wreaths out of natural materials, then we became artists and made some super observational drawings, looking at the fine details – the concentration from the children was absolutely fantastic and the work they produced was incredible! We finished the day off with a scavenger hunt, where the children frantically looked for different types of berries, fungi, webs and even squirrels. It was just typical that as soon as we finished, the squirrels came out to play in the trees – but at least we saw them on the day! Take a look at our photos below.
