On Thursday last week, we had a top secret visit – so top secret we’re only now allowed to tell you – from the Moon and a meteorite!
Colleagues from Bradford Grammar School had been entrusted by NASA to look after a sample of moon rock and a piece of meteorite from the Campo del Cielo (Field of Heaven) in Argentina and they paid a visit to us at Tranmere.
All the children participated in an assembly and then the samples of moon rock and meteorite made it’s way around school for the rest of the morning for the children to have a closer look at.
It was so exciting!
