What a busy and exciting start to the school year we are having! Our new recruits to team Tranmere are settling into Robins and Bluebirds classes brilliantly and we’re loving getting to know them all! Our sports teams and clubs are beginning to come together, and we already have lots of talented and enthusiastic children learning new musical instruments in their lessons or taking part in Groove Generation. There will be lots of other opportunities for children to get involved in sport, science and the arts (as well as many other things) as the year goes on. We have BIG plans for our climate strike day tomorrow too so look out for a serious amount of banner waving, debate and general chaos! We may even appear in the local media…
We love it when parents, carers and grandparents get involved in the things we are doing in school. In order that you can support your child with their learning at home we like to tell you all about the topics and activities we are planning. Throughout the year this will be communicated to you through the knowledge organisers and homework grids, which are published on your child’s class page on the school website at the beginning of each half term. We will also share photos of topic entry and exit points, muddy puddle days and lots of other practical learning on the same pages, so do please have a look on the website for all the information you need to be involved!
