Computing and DT Challenge day.
Yesterday we held our DT and Computing challenge day for this year. A group of children from across Key Stages 1 and 2 took part in our rubber-band racers challenge.
Despite the suggestions from certain members of the staff, we decided not to strip the cars on the car park to build our racers and stuck with raiding the DT cupboard instead.
All of our groups succeeded in producing their own racers and the racing was close. We spent the latter part of the afternoon designing timing and scoreboard systems using our codebugs so that when the finish was too close to call – we could consult the clock!
