This term in LKS2, we have started our new topic called Scavengers and Settlers. Throughout this topic, we are going to be learning all about life in the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages. To kick off our learning of these different historical periods, we have taken part in a muddy puddle day focused on the Stone Age. We’ve built shelters and hunted/gathered food, just like those in the Palaeolithic and Mesolithic eras of the Stone Age would have. We’ve looked at and created cave paintings and, we’ve even cooked some food over a fire, just like those in the Stone Age would have!!! Check out some snapshots from our day below…
