On Monday, Tranmere was transformed into the Great British Bake Off tent at bread week! We created our own rainforest inspired bread, which included chocolate. Some of us chose chocolate chips and others chose grated chocolate. One group even chose cocoa powder. We also added other ingredients such as orange, cinnamon and lemon. The recipe for the bread consisted of flour, sugar, water and our extra ingredients. We mixed them together and then wrapped them round to sticks ready to cook. We then went up onto the banks and cooked them on a fire as if we were in the rainforest. Most people loved the taste of theirs, but others not so much.
