The school council have signed us up to join in with Duracell’s big battery hunt.
Duracell are encouraging pupils up and down the country to recycle their batteries instead of putting them in landfill to help make our planet greener and cleaner.
They’ve set schools a challenge to try and collect and recycle as many dead and used batteries (AAA, AA, C and D) as they can by June 23rd.
Those who recycle the most / are the best recyclers could be in with the chance of winning prizes for both their school and themselves (Trophies, Certificates, Vouchers, iPads and Nintendo Switches).
All that’s left to do is get recycling! Bring your old and used batteries into class so they can be counted and recycled into our battery bins.
