In maths, Year 1 have been practising number bonds. They completed part-whole models, identifying different ways the whole can be made using their knowledge of number bonds. For example, 5: 0 + 5, 1 + 4, 2 + 3, 4 +1, 5 + 0. They then were challenged to an activity, matching the number bonds to 10 to create a shape. See our learning below.
