In Topic today, we were tasked with the job of creating a biography of Boudicca.
To begin, we discussed what a biography is and why somebody might write one. Then, we looked at its key features through a biography example of Tom Daley. Next, we decided on some key headings that would be good to use in our biographies and set off to work researching for facts that we could include in each of these.
During the research stages we noticed that some facts were contradictory and very different from each other. This led us into the discussion as to why this may be. We came up with the ideas that: 1. Most facts are stories passed down over time which may get changed when passed from person to person. 2. The accounts people pass down may differ slightly dependent on their opinion of Boudicca. For example, some Celts may have loved her but some Romans may not have! Our next job is create our biography plan.
