In science this week we’ve been learning all about the skeleton. To begin with, we discussed what our skeleton is and why it is so important. Then, we found out the scientific names for some of our bones. Some of these were very complex!
After this, we discussed how everyone’s skeleton is different and started to think about how this affects us. To put these thoughts into context, we decided to put our different skeletons to the test and investigate the question ‘Does having a longer femur mean you can jump further?’
We started our investigation by thinking about our set up, equipment and how we could make it a fair test. Then we got stuck straight in.
Why not ask us about our findings? They weren’t all as we predicted…
