This week we have started our new addition and subtraction unit. Today, we had a go at re-capping the skills we had learned in year 2 so that we could remind ourselves of the different methods we already know when it comes to adding and subtracting numbers. We used tens and ones equipment, number lines and number squares to solve our number sentences. We even took on the role of a teacher, by creating addition and subtraction problems for our buddies to try and solve!
