Today, the Year 5 children spent the morning outside doing various different activities. They started out with team building games to get to know their teams that they would be working in throughout the morning. One of these games was ‘Cross the River’ which proved quite challenging! It required communication and tactical skill. They then took part in two different scavenger hunt activities. These required the children to search round the grounds for various things, thinking about their characteristics. One of them was particularly challenging as they had to REALLY read the question carefully, not something everyone got straight away! All the children had a fantastic time and I’m sure that they’ll be telling you all about it tonight!
