On Friday, Year 5 took part in a workshop, run by Barnado’s Positive Identity Services. This was part of the Barnado’s Equality Ambassador Scheme that our school has been taking part in. The children discussed diversity and considered different families. We also explored gender roles and stereotypes. The children thought about anti-bullying and how they could help create safe spaces in school. All the children who took part our now ambassadors for our school. We were really impressed how thoughtful and sensible the children were!
