Today marked our second Muddy Puddle session of the half-term. We spent the morning outside in the school grounds completing two different tasks.
First, we used natural materials to create number equations. Different materials matched to different numbers and we had to create number sentences related to these. Everyone really got involved and particularly enjoyed the problem solving aspect of it, as well as collecting the materials from around the grounds.
Secondly, we became actors and focused on different emotions. The brief was to portray three or four different emotions that met in the street. We had some fantastic drama performances and everybody really thought about their facial expressions and body language to show their emotions.
The whole class were great and everyone really enjoyed the morning! It was fantastic to see everyone running around and enjoying the fresh air! Have a look for yourself.
