In Our Topic this half term, Journeys and Transport, we have been learning about the United Kingdom including the 4 countries, 4 capital cities and the seas. We have also revisited the 7 continents. Today, the children spent time looking at world maps, atlases, globes and an atlas app on the iPads to locate the different continents and discover different countries and cities around the world. They researched many interesting facts about these countries and cities and some children even had a go at a geography quiz.
