Tonight your child will bring home a reading book. These books have pictures and come with a guide for you to support your child as you look at them together. Please encourage your child to talk about the front cover enabling them to think about what the book might be called. As you move through the book ask them simple questions or ask them to predict what might happen next. Please ensure you write the title of the book and a comment relating to how your child engaged with the story within the yellow reading record. Then return the book on Monday in your child’s bookbag.
