This morning Reception went in to Harvest Festival. Throughout the day we talked about how it is celebrated to give thanks for the crops, which have been safely harvested.
We also talked about how Harvest Festivals are often celebrated in church by bringing baskets of food to give thanks to God.
We sang songs, made scarecrows, designed our own fruit baskets, printed with fruit and vegetables and even used the farm to haverst our own crops.
