As our entry point for our new topic ‘Toys,’ the children arrived this morning to find that the classroom had been turned into ‘The Magic Toymaker’s Workshop!’ Not long after their arrival, we received a letter from him, explaining that whilst he couldn’t be there to greet us today (he was extremely busy making and delivering toys) he was happy for us to explore his wonderful workshop. What toys could we see? How did they work and what were they made of?
The children had a fantastic time exploring his toy shop, using the construction materials and exploring a range of different toys.
