The children worked well in their groups, utilising a range of strategies and ideas to build their structure. Some towers were successful and could stand up unaided, others needed additional support from one of our lovely children!
Over the next few weeks, we will be looking at structures from around the world in order to establish ways in which these are supported, strengthened and stabilised. In DT we will also be learning a range of strengthening techniques before having another go at building a tower later on in our topic.
The children really impressed us with their enthusiasm and problem solving skills. Well done Eagles!
