In maths, Year 1 have been learning to read, write, count and investigate numbers to 20. Today, we have focused on representing numbers in various ways and identifying tens and ones. The Year 2’s were fabulous teachers and supported us with our learning!

Today, we have been learning how to recognise and count pounds and pence. The children used different coins and notes to help them. We’re looking forward to next week’s lesson, when we will be working in ‘Skylarks Shop’ to buy and sell different foods using money.
