To introduce our new reading book for this term, Puffins took part in a silent debate. We had little jigsaw pieces of the front cover and had to use these to predict what we thought the story might be about. We came up with some fantastic predictions and were able to justify them with evidence.
We’ve now started reading our book – Boy in the Tower by Polly Ho-Yen and are already very intrigued – there’s lots of mystery surrounding the book already and we can’t wait to find out if our predictions are correct!
