To finish off our English Performance Poetry topic, we have planned and written our own poem based on a well-known Fairy Tale in groups. We used all of the techniques we have been learning about and came up with some fantastic ones! The hardest part was coming up with a bit of a twist to the original stories but we didn’t disappoint. We had the Big Bad Wolf being chased because he hadn’t paid his tax and some ham, sausage and bacon pigs running away from a butcher, to name but a few! We then performed them in front of the rest of the class as a treat – it was great!
