This week, Heron’s class were extremely excited to be taking their learning outside of the walls of our wonderful school. This was the children’s first school trip since the pandemic and the children were thoroughly looking forward to the day. The day did not disappoint!
The coach journey itself was a highlight and when we arrived we were treated to an amazing workshop at Bradford Industrial Museum. To tie in with our work on on topic ‘All Dressed Up,’ the children learnt about wool production and how yarn is turned into cloth. They learnt about the mill and even got to see the old fashioned looms working!
The children were wonderful representatives of our school and as we were leaving, the staff commented on their wonderful behaviour throughout their visit. Well done Herons! What a brilliant end to a great day!
