We are very excited to announce that our new Outdoor Classroom is now complete and ready to be used by the children! We officially opened the Classroom with members from our School Governors Panel, our Parent Forum members and representatives from our school PTA who helped to fund the project!
Our new Outdoor Classroom enables our children to participate in lessons outdoors amongst nature, without the elements disrupting learning.
It will provide a great base for our Forest Rangers groups and Muddy Puddles Days!
With a watertight roof, cladding and glazing, the children can comfortably sit on the benches and concentrate on the lesson taking place. We installed an astro-turf path so that all of our students can enjoy the facility and make use of the space!
For this project, we worked with Pentagon Play who design and install outdoor learning environments for schools and nurseries.
