In Woodpeckers, we have been doing some practical Maths to finish our place value unit. Year 3 were completing a range of activities including, ordering numbers, comparing numbers, finding more or less and partitioning numbers. Year 4 were learning how to use Roman numerals and were creating these using lollipop sticks.

In our place value unit we have been learning about how signs can help us know more about the value of a number. Practically we used lolly pop sticks to show greater than, less than and equals to.
