As well as being a mum, in my professional life I am a Solicitor working for Leeds City Council’s in house legal team as a Principal Legal Officer. It is a really interesting and varied job. My area of specialism is employment law and since I started at the Council I have advised managers and HR officers on all manner of employee-related issues. I have also worked with numerous primary and secondary schools in Leeds helping them with various HR and employee related issues.
